About Ricky Knapp Jr
Originally hailing from New York, Ricky Knapp Jr. competes in North Carolina in the highly competitive and notorious Modified division. Racing the majority of his schedule at Bowman Gray Stadium, the setting for the famed television show “Madhouse” which featured the Modified drivers, the “Rocketman” races against arguably the toughest drivers in motorsports. Never one to back down from a challenge, Knapp is a very capable one-man-show who does all the work on his own car before going head to head with the best of the best.
Knapp Rebuilds and Rebounds For Ace Double-Header
Less than two weeks after losing at motor, Ricky Knapp Jr. managed to rebuild his race car in time for a double-header at Ace Speedway (NC) on Saturday, September 24th. Knapp qualified second for the first race but had a brake issue that ended his race early. Never one to give up, Knapp again fixed the race car in time for the second event. Despite having to start the race in last place, he piloted the modified to a 5th-place finish.
